We had a wonderful stay at Domus in 2007 at the recommendation of a friend who had lived locally for most of his life before moving to the United States a few years ago. The staff and service was great without being too contrived and too stuffy, and every staff member we came in contact with was very friendly and accomodating.. Our room was small, but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast room was well always well stocked, and rooftop tables made for lovely evenings under the stars. We felt very safe and comfortable at Domus and will likely stay here when we visit again.

Hello Max, Please convey the thanks from the group from Christ the King who stayed at the Domus Carmelitana on 3rd October for 5 nights. As usual, all aspects of the house were exceptional. We feel that initial impressions for guests are always important as it provides them with their first contact with the Domus Carmelitana, so please convey special thanks to Mario who was on Reception when the group arrived and made them all feel welcome. Also convey thanks to the rest of the Reception staff who all dealt with the group during their stay and treated all guests warmly and professionally. I have not received any negative from the group only positive ones. They were impressed by the standard of their rooms, the cleanliness of their rooms and of the Domus in general, also impressed with the breakfast each morning but especially the evening meals provided by Danielle. The group were impressed by so many aspects of the Domus Carmelitana which I know is due to the professional way in which it is run and led by you. As a company we use many hotels in numerous countries and I know that the Domus Carmelitana is the best hotel that we use and under your management will remain that way. 13 days in March of 2005 in Rome and at the Domus were the answer to a prayer. Paulo, Massimo et al were hospitable beyond expectation. I will always be thankful for those magical 13 days.

Last year I offered my opinion on what a fantastic stay I had at the Domus along with my wife, my son and my daughter. I indicated that when we returned to Rome, we would definitely stay at the Domus again. In August of this year, we had the opportunity again to do just that. We enjoyed six nights of excellent hospitality with a "feel at home" atmosphere. The staff is exceptional. They are a role model for all other hotels: courteous, helpful and most considerate, always at the ready to lend assistance.The atmosphere of peace, tranquility and the presence of God throughout the facilities are appreciated and most welcome. On the plane back home, we were already talking about a return next year. Through the grace of God, it will happen. God bless the staff at the Domus as they continue to do all in their power to assure a pleasant stay for all guests.

I am writing, belatedly, to offer my gratitude to the staff of the Domus Carmelitana. My colleagues and I enjoyed our three day stay in the comfort of the pristine and comfortable guest house. Since August is an incredibly hot month for Rome, we were especially impressed with the excellent air conditioning. The front desk staff were professional, courteous and very engaging, and the breakfast was a wonderful way for us to fuel our busy sightseeing days! I plan on bringing my family here when we travel to Rome next year! Thanks for an unforgettable and wonderful experience!!

Just to let you know that we are very pleased with the excellent customer service of your staff particularly the dayshift staff. Our room was very very clean and the breakfast is also very nice. Since my mom is wheelchair bound we have to take the service elevator at the back of the hotel. Would like to suggest for a handicapped sidewalk by covering portion of the parking area since it is a little bit inconvinient for the handicapped person and to the one pushing the wheelchair to pass thru small gravel and sand. Would also like to inform you that the taxi which took us to the airport charged us 50Euro instead of 40Euro as advised before leaving the hotel. Try not to contact him again for future guests. Thank you very much.

Wir waren mit 5 Personen vom 01.07 - 04.07.2008 in Rom. Wir hatten ein Doppel- sowie ein Dreibettzimmer. Die Ausstattung sowie die Größe der Zimmer waren ansprechend und es war kaum Straßenlärm zu hören. Wir hatten einen schönen Blick zur Engelsburg. Leider waren die Zimmer (Nrn 319 und 320) in Nähe des Fahrtstuhles sowie Treppenhauses und es kam besonders Nachts immer zu Ruhestörungen von weiteren Gästen. Von den Mitarbeitern der Rezeption haben wir freundliche Unterstützung für unseren Romaufenthalt erhalten. Das Frühstücksangebot war angemessen. Dem Personal konnten wir hier jedoch kein Lächeln am Morgen entlocken. Besonders empfehlen können wir die Dachterasse. Hier wäre eine Bar optimal gewesen. Getränke aus dem EG zu transportieren fanden wir nicht ideal. Gerne kommen wir wieder nach Rom.

Hola. Escribo desde Buenos Aires, Argentina. Estuve durante una semana en el mes de agosto de 2007. Me recomendò este lugar el Padre Marcelo, quien vive en Oslo, justo unos dias antes de viajar a Roma. Hoy encontre esta pagina y me da gusto poder comentarles que me encanto haber podido descubrir el hotel. El estilo es muy relajante y acogedor, y haber podido instalarme en Domus Carmelitana fue, sin duda, parte de la experiencia de mi viaje a Roma. My wife and I stayed at Domus Carmelitana the first 3 days of April 2008 and could not have been more pleasantly surprised during our stay. The service at the front desk was very good and always pleasant and patience (even though we do not speak Italian), our room was very clean including the bathroom that was larger and cleaner than we had been used to in Italy. The hotel is situated a short walk to the Vatican and had several small but very good restaurants around the hotel. The one meal we ate at the Hotel was excellent and the breakfast served was more than adequate. I would definitely stay again and recommend for those looking for a clean and safe hotel without the bells and whistles of a pool and spa.

Ich war bereits mehr als 10 Mal Gast in diesem Haus und kann nur das Beste sagen. Schöne saubere Zimmer, umfangreiches Frühstück und sehr sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Ich freue mich immer wieder, wenn ich ein Zimmer in diesem Haus bekommen kann.

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable. L'hôtel est à recommander. Les chambres sont d'une propreté irréprochable et sont très sécurisées. Le personnel, surtout le réceptionniste Alessandro et un des serveurs, est charmant, serviable et très professionnel. Les petits déjeuners sont d'une grande variété et pour tous les goûts.
